What if your mind has its own Reality?

Yes, your mind has

a mind of its own!

What if everything in life is a matter of what your mind believes to be real? What if in its endeavour of making sense of reality it isn't always right but actually also far from wrong? And what if all this only happens because of its desire to make things safe and easy for you?

What if that's the best thing that could have happened to you?

THOUGHTS

Do you think that your mind is your problem?

So are you one of the people who think their mind is their enemy? Seriously? Do you really believe that? Oh right, only sometimes you're thinking now. Well then tell me, why would it do that? After all it lives in the same body as you, doesn't it? Or maybe you just think your mind is somewhat damaged or a "faulty product"? Right. How so? Why yours? Or maybe are all our minds imperfect? Potentially just sloppy at times, getting things a bit confused.

Well, I honestly don't think so.

In fact, your mind is your biggest ally and your very best friend. It's always been there for you and will remain by your side on its lifelong mission to protect you and the biggest gift of your life: your life. It's been paying attention and learning ever since you were born, in fact even before already, to ensure you stay clear of dangers and do what's needed to survive and live happily.

So then why is it that it sometimes yet repeatedly gets you into trouble? Because it's a cautious system, for good reasons so, that draws learnings from every moment of your life, particularly the dangerous and uncomfortable ones, and uses its power over you and your body to avoid experiencing them again.

Even if the present moment only vaguely resembles the situation from back then. Now add to this that it's not fully aware of how fundamentally your life and its circumstances have changed - many situations that were marked as bad would be entirely harmless for you as an adult - and you have a mind with a mind of its own whose decisions and desires we often can't understand. But do you brand anything and anyone you don't fully understand as an enemy or damaged?

So rather than hating or judging it, isn't it rather time to set it free from the phantoms if the past? Or wouldn't you also tell a butterfly that's not flying that it no longer is the caterpillar it used to be, bound to a solid surface to stand and crawl on? Those wings are there to be used, to fly, to overcome the limitations that no longer apply. Become aware of your own wings and trust that you have everything you need to live a happy, fulfilling and worry-free life. Fly!

Since your mind is your biggest ally it actually wants you to explore all your life's opportunities, even if that sometimes doesn't seem like it. Wanna bet?

Well, how about we engage with your best friend and find out who he or she is / they are?
